I came here based on a recommendation from my aunt because I was craving some banh beo, and can I say WOW! This is honestly the best banh beo I've ever had in my entire life. It was good enough that I came back the next day to have it for breakfast AGAIN.
The entrée comes out in 12 little dishes, like banh beo usually does. It comes topped with shrimp, green onion, fried onion (YUM). Nuoc mam (fish sauce), sliced peppers, and pork rinds came on the side. The banh beo was the perfect texture, not too thick or powdery. The fish sauce was sweet and milk, not too salty. The pork was good, but the fried onion really made the dish. It was extremely fragrant and tasted soooo good.
My boyfriend got the bun bo hue, and honestly I wasn't too impressed. Maybe its because my mom makes her soup super flavorful, but I thought their bun bo hue was somewhat bland. He seemed to like it though.
If you come here, you HAVE to try the banh beo!!! I'm still dreaming of it to this day! -

We drove from Escondido to eat here as my partner loves all the options they have.
He ordered more dishes than he could eat to gorge himself.
Pretty good recommendation to drive this far for lunch! -

Overall, a very solid option for hue vietnamese food options!
Price point: extremely reasonable for the westminster/bolsa area. ~$70 for the pictured items: 2 bun bo hues, 1, banh beo, 1 app sampler (banh beo + banh it + some other things), 1 goi hen, 2 som bo luongs, and 2 tras
Quality: authentic and tasty! Everything came out piping hot.
Service: service was relatively quick once you've ordered. It might take a few hollers to get attention from a server if you need anything though
Other tips:
- the com ga is another go to option for me
- parking can be tough as the lot is pretty small, so try going during non-peak hours -

Best bun bo hue in the area! I always come here to eat when I'm in the area and I'm never disappointed!

Horrible service. Food was subpar. The ambience is lackluster. Spare yourself. Learn from my mistake.
